My mom made a mind-blowing vegan feast for Sabbath lunch.
And the most amazing chocolate cake for dessert.
Almost to the premiere!

Update 9.3.16: I just spent the weekend binge-watching Silicon Valley. Jeff had told me that I had one of the Big Hero 6 actors in this photo, but it means so much more now that I know and love T.J. Miller as Erlich Bachman. Anyway, Miller plays an excellent Fred in Big Hero 6.
Update 3.19.22: Well that update didn’t age well. Now Miller is known for a fake bomb threat, a transphobic email, beating up an Uber driver, and sexual assault. So when I re-watch Silicon Valley, I like Erlich Bachman’s part in the show, but it reminds me of the disappointment I feel in Miller, in the way men fail to take responsibility for and correct their entitlement, and in society for creating men like that and allowing their behavior to continue.
Getting dinner.
A plethora of Baymax!
Dessert.
Wrap party wristbands! We’re legitimate!
A Baymax selfie station!
And, because it is so awesome, the Veggie Grill was the last stop before I headed back to Salt Lake City. Everyone knows that the best street food is, well, on the street, but Veggie Grill has managed to create unforgettable street corn that blends the best of all the other flavors.
