Our fall break adventure ended, and we caught a plane from Indianapolis to Denver to Salt Lake City for a day of recovery before we went back to work.
Laying over in Denver. We rode the train to kill time and to look for potential dinner options.
Back in Salt Lake City for breakfast at Vertical Diner. The waiter gave us an inside tip on the buffalo wings–they were voted 8th best tasting in the country. Although we don’t like spicy food, he gave us some with a light drizzling of sauce, and they are very, very tasty.
Our breakfast entrees were the Avalanche (the blueberry pancake platter in the background), and the breakfast sandwich, an excellent end to a whirlwind trip.
Riding the train between terminals in Denver.
