“Housesitting” for my parents while they visit Nene and Canada over Fourth of July weekend. Really it was more like I watered a plant and then spent the rest of the time eating my favorite food from the Loma Linda area and floating in the pool. I had fond memories of the food, but it is infinitely better than I remember.
First up was Lotus Garden. Sweet and sour chicken, Szechuan green beans, and lemon chicken.
Then Maria’s bean and rice burritos.
Finally Benjarong yellow curry and a first taste of Ben and Jerry’s chocolate fudge brownie vegan ice cream.
The weekend ended back in Pasadena with Veggie Grill.
