Magic in the making. By this point I’d been looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner for weeks. (Stuck on homework? Oh well, it’s only 23 days until Thanksgiving!) Dinner exceeded my expectations.

 Stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
 Mashed potatoes.
 The feast.
 Life-affirming nacho cheese dip.
 The salad with the vegan ranch dressing you want to slurp straight from the glass.

And the moment you’ve been waiting for all year, the reason you pay attention to this blog, I give you the pies: we have pecan, Dutch apple, pumpkin, and pumpkin chiffon with ginger cookie crust. (AND there was a chocolate strawberry shortbread pie they’d already started on before I got there.)
