It’s not just that I didn’t blog the auto show–I didn’t even look at the photos. I had my small camera since I went straight from work, so I took the photos, put the camera back in its drawer at home, bought a Mustang seven days later, and didn’t give the camera, the pictures, or the show a second thought. It wasn’t until I used the camera again on a work field trip that I realized I had photos on that card that I’d never seen. Anyway, this is a Ford GT.
“Limited edition. Unlimited fun,” according to the sign. The series 1 Mustang RTR.
My dad makes a movie! Ford went all out this year (well, technically it was last year) with fancy tech. They had a theater where one wall was bleacher seats and the other three walls were a screen. After the film finished introducing a car, that car would drive through doors that opened in the middle screen.
Ford also took the usual green-screen-yourself-into-a-scene picture up a notch with the ability to put yourself into a movie about a Mustang driver beating the other guy to a parking spot.
 Jeep!
Best non-Mustang-in-show for me was this Dodge Challenger Hellcat sleigh (they put reindeer antlers on the cat logo), complete with a mountain of presents in the back.
 Porsche.
Alfa Romeo. The Giulia is a fairly common occurrence around DTLA these days which always makes for a more aesthetically pleasing walk to lunch.
 The bus!
 Infinity.
My favorite from the aftermarket hall. The carpet under this car is littered with mirrors.
