Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
My dad drove out to Long Beach, and we started our day at the marina farmers market. Wild Chive had a Reuben sandwich special in honor of the holiday. (And we got doughnuts. Of course.)
This was the second attempt at the Ponies at the Pike show. The first was rescheduled because of rain. (The cars would have sunk in the grass.)

There were a lot of themed cars this time around. This is the Joker car.

 The In-N-Out car.

 Coyote engine!
“Remove before flight.”
Signatures: Carroll Shelby, Steve Saleen, and Jack Roush. (We saw Jack Roush signing cars once.)
 This car was gun-themed.
Several of the cars had toy collections.
 The Saleen section.

The Bullitt section was at the top of the hill around the lighthouse.
My dad noticed that the license plates all started with “JJZ.” Turns out the license plate in the film is “JJZ 109.”
It’s JJZ 109! This Bullitt had Steve McQueen in the driver’s seat, which startled me.
 Hair and everything.
 Vegan bae!
Speaking of vegan, we went from “Eh, I’m not that hungry since the farmers market, but let’s go to the Veggie Grill anyway,” to cleaning our plates.
