Cinnaholic opened in Long Beach yesterday. It’s a build-your-own cinnamon roll shop and 100% plant-based. This is “The Shoreline” with maple, pecans, pie pieces, caramel, and cream cheese frosting. It’s good! The cinnamon roll isn’t as moist as Cinnabon, but Cinnaholic’s cream cheese frosting is better.

The host greets customers and goes through the two-step process where you pick from 18 frostings and 23 toppings for your cinnamon roll creation. Or frost/top a scoop of cookie dough. There’s also cookies, brownies, baby cinnamon rolls, and a cinnamon roll cake.

Cinnaholic has Long Beach-specific flavors in addition to their regular signature rolls. They said the most popular are The Queen Berry and Shoreline.
