It’s back! After a year off, the shiny objects are back on the convention center floor. This year the big Ford news was the Mach-E and the all-new Bronco.
So far the Bronco seems popular with 125,000 preorders and 190,000 reservations.

It’s a Mach-E, but lower! (It took me a second to realize it’s the same Mach-E body.)
Ford had an indoor track for the Mach-E experience (more in the video below).
There was also a Bronco experience on an outdoor course. Both courses offered rides with professional drivers who showed off the car’s capabilities to convention-goers.
The Bronco course included uneven terrain, mud, and a hill climb (the hill climb has a video below).
The Dodge section.
Subaru had a fancy national parks setup complete with a stalactite-filled cave.
The Jeep section! This is a Willys edition.
When you take breaks from driving your Porsche you can sip cappuccino from an official Porsche cup and saucer.

This is Tacozilla, a Toyota Tacoma turned into a tiny home.

For lunch we walked up to FIGAt7th for some Mendocino Farms deliciousness. (This is the vegan banh mi.)
We also picked up vegan red velvet cupcakes from Sprinkles.
The Mach-E experience! It’s a short loop that gives the driver enough time to explain the highlights of the car, culminating in a 45-foot-long blast-off to demonstrate the instant torque. (It only gets up to about 35 miles per hour, but it feels much faster, especially when you see the cement barrier approaching. So. Fun.)
