Snoqualmie Falls is a Washington icon, and it is impressive. Back in the day, water carved though post-glacier gravel to bedrock, and now we have a 268-foot waterfall to enjoy! (That’s the Salish Lodge & Spa up on the left. More on that in the next post!)
There’s free parking across the street with this cool pedestrian bride to the falls viewpoints.
Nene and I wanted to know where the falls came from, so we wandered up stream a bit. The water was super-still and clear, but you could see the swift current. (There was also a couple giant “danger” signs warning about the falls ahead.)
The water crosses under this bridge before falling off the edge of the infinity pool to the left.
