Sweet Peaks Ice Cream 8.14.22
Heading east! Between getting my stuff out of the Washington Airbnb and trying to remember the cat routine on the road, it’s been a lot. The drive from Seattle to New York is long, huh?!
In Montana I booked a pet-friendly hotel that, I found out when I got there, doesn’t count cats as pets. So there was a bit of a scramble, and I ended up in Bozeman. It worked out better that way, though, because Bozeman has Sweet Peaks Ice Cream! It’s a chain of ice cream stores that offer a vegan (oat milk-based) flavor. (And two vegan cone options!) When I was there it was raspberry.
Bozeman has two Sweet Peaks locations, so I went to the one I thought would have more parking.
It was busy! I guess that makes sense since it’s hot out, and post-dinner ice cream is always a good idea.
It hit the spot. Nice flavor, good texture, perfect de-stressor. (And nostalgic since I haven’t found a vegan sugar cone in a while.) It definitely tasted oat-y, but it worked. They gave me a kid-size scoop, which was the perfect amount.
