After we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, we wandered around Brooklyn.
We walked past the Manhattan Bridge (opened in 1909).
To Brooklyn Flea! A weekly market.
Brooklyn Flea is held under the Manhattan Bridge.
They have vintage items, antiques, crafts, old maps, etc.
The flea market sort of dead-ends in this book shop, powerHouse Books. So, being Michaelises, we wandered the book store for a bit.
And we ended up at Time Out Market for some noms from BKLYN WILD. On the one hand, BKLYN WILD claimed to be vegan. On the other hand, there’s an item on the menu with an egg in it that says “not vegan.” So I went with a salad. (It had plantains in it!) We also got the quesadilla (first photo).
