There’s a train that stops by my New York home-base on the way to Coney Island. Field trip!
I went early in the morning. On a cold, windy weekday, before work. Not a lot happening under those conditions. (It did look like they were setting up for a film shoot, however. Production code was HLDNG CTRNG, but I never figured out what it was.)
There’s a rumor that Nathan’s had a vegan dog for a while (it seemed like it might not be a thing anymore), but I thought I’d check. Of course they were definitely closed.
There’s a T-shaped pier! So you can walk out and go left or right to look back at the shore.
The boardwalk goes to Brighton Beach next door, which is where I got off the train.
