Because of Airbnb cancellations, I have about half the time in Florida that I thought I’d have. So the plan was to eat at a variety of places and fit in as many as possible. But then I tried Winter Park Biscuit Co. and suddenly I wasn’t as interested in going anywhere else. I don’t have a photo of it, but the biscuits come broken up into a cup of gravy, their Chik Strips are even better the next day, and they serve what might be the perfect burger (the cheese is crispy, the patty is juicy, and it comes with pickles by default). And it’s 100% plant-based. This is Jeff’s buffalo strips with fries.
Their kale salad is pre-massaged, so it’s a pleasure to eat. It’s topped with toasted pumpkin seeds, everything biscuit crumble, Caesar dressing, and parmesan.
Your food comes up quick, but even if it didn’t they’re located in the delightful East End Market which you can wander while you wait. They also have a lovely outdoor eating area.
