Long Beach loves Devi’s Donuts. They are SO GOOD (especially the filled ones). And they are 100% vegan. This is my favorite, the Boston Creme with chocolately chocolate frosting and miraculous custard filling.
Devi’s was mobile at first, then they opened their brick-and-mortar three years ago.
The shop is family owned and operated, and Eva works overnight to have their 40-plus flavors available when the shop opens at 6 am. This woman works wonders with soy milk.
And the donuts are available in other places, too. Most mornings there’s a batch of Devi’s donuts at the Cafablanca coffee cart.
A Golden Latte from Cafablanca with a Creme Brulee donut from Devi’s. The donut has that miracle custard inside again, and the top is like a hard candy shell.
You can find Devi’s donuts at the farmers market too. This is the Lemon Meringue. It is delicious. If you say you’re going to walk and eat, they’ll give you your donut on top of the bag so the frosting doesn’t get pulled off.
