Long Beach has vegan corn ribs! This is the Elote Fried “Ribs” starter from PlanTita’s Kitchen in West Long Beach. The entire restaurant is vegan! And the food is delicious. I ate every bit of corn ribs including as much of the sauce as possible.
This is the taco plate with the asada and carnitas tacos. It’s served with rice and beans, and whatever you do, get something that comes with the beans because they were stellar. The “meat” was also excellent with a sort of crunchy outside and soft juicy inside.
I’d been meaning to wander out to PlanTita’s ever since they opened in October.
