So it won’t stop snowing. Of the 12 photo folders I have for 2017, eight of them are titled “snow.” This year has been like riding a roller coaster of Salt Lake City’s emotions. It will be 64 degrees and sunny in the afternoon followed by 29 degrees and eight inches of fresh powder the next day. The snow will melt off the roads just in time for another storm to cover them again. Our most recent (and arguably worst storm) was the ice storm that happened on Monday. This is the disc golf course up at the U.
We wake up to this every day or so.
Buses and trains are delayed because of road conditions. (And with Monday’s ice storm, the bus didn’t stop at the U because of an accident. I got to experience walking up the hill on snow-covered ice.)
 Clearing storm.
 The Wasatch range.
One of those days where it seems like the snow is over! The Wasatch range framed in the public library.
Walking to the engineering building from the train. (The U does an excellent job of having the sidewalks cleared by the time we show up for school.)

Falling snow.
