I had researched new food options for our trip to Seattle, but once we got there Nene and I just wanted carrot cake. So we walked three blocks to that oldie-but-goodie Veggie Grill. Man those sweet potato fries are good.
Then, as a Veggie Grill chaser, we went to Piroshky Piroshky.
This time I got the vegan potato and mushroom piroshky, and it was REALLY good. Too bad I’d just loaded up on carrot cake.
Sunday morning, not realizing there was a location downtown, I wandered to Capitol Hill in search of Mighty-O Donuts. Here it is!
I got the staff-recommended frosted cinnamon twist, the staff-recommended French toast cake donut, and a maple bar. We set them up on the heater at King Street Station with lychee from Uwajimaya for a pre-train breakfast.
