Horseshoe Bend! It doesn’t fit in my lens! I feel like photos don’t accurately grab the scale–the shore directly across the river is littered with tents.
We stocked up on food at Trader Joe’s before we left Salt Lake City. Jeff and his dad had already perfected the ciabatta-Tofurky-hummus sandwich on their last trip. Jeff’s mom exponentially increased an already-delicious concoction by adding spinach and tapenade. So. Good. We parked in the shade of tour bus to make and eat our lunch.
 Tourists at the overlook.
 Looking down river.
The rim and the cliff. We noticed that there were no railings and a number of people backing toward the rim as they adjusted for photos with selfie sticks.
Looking up river. We’d seen those boats earlier in the day by the Glen Canyon Dam.
Driving back through Page, Arizona, on our way to the next adventure.
