Lower Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona.
Both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons require you to go down with a tour. Since we spent the morning exploring the Glen Canyon Dam, we skipped Upper Antelope Canyon and just did the Lower Antelope Canyon Tour.
Following the tour group down the hill behind Ken’s Tours as they disappear into the canyon.
Looking back up the hill while waiting for the group to make it down the steep stairs to the canyon floor.
Climbing down into the canyon.
The canyon floor, looking back at the stairs we just climbed down.
Basically anywhere you point your camera will be an awesome shot.
The tour guide told us that they call this formation “Pocahontas” because it looks like a woman with wind-swept hair.
Sometimes we had to wait for the tourists ahead of us to stop taking selfies before we could move on, but it gave us a chance to stop and take more photos.
Looking back across the canyon ceiling.
A parting shot of two well-placed 2015 Mustangs from California. Overall we felt that Lower Antelope Canyon was a highlight of the trip, and we want to return to Page to do Upper Antelope Canyon.
