Home for the holidays. Where the food is way better than normal.
 Leaving Utah.
Have I mentioned that I love Las Vegas? I love Las Vegas. I was lucky enough to stop over at McCarran airport where everyone is in a good mood like they just hit the jackpot, and the food is the kind that you only get in exotic places like Tennessee. I’d heard of Moe’s from people who went to Southern, and now I finally had a chance to try it for myself. When I explained to the bouncer-sized TSA agent that I wasn’t flying out of the A gates, but that I was interested in eating at Moe’s he waved me on, shouting to his colleague, “Let her through! She’s going to Moe’s!” His colleague was also enthusiastic about Moe’s, giving me a hint on how to find a secret passageway (a.k.a. an unmarked hallway) to get back to my gates without having to redo the security screening. People in Las Vegas certainly have their priorities in order.
 Leaving Las Vegas.
The main event! Mumsey made another astounding vegan feast …
… and some even more astounding vegan pies (three of which are usually milk-based). From left to right we have pecan pie, chocolate pie, lemon cream pie, pear tart pie, and pumpkin pie.
