Trinity Church has been rebuilt a couple times, but the original church dates back to the days when New York had just become a British colony–the first church was built in 1698. (The current church was completed in 1846, and at the time was the tallest building in the United States.)
So there’s some historically significant people buried here.
Since we’d seen Hamilton the day before, we went looking for Angelica, Eliza, and Alexander. Here is Alexander Hamilton’s grave.
