Disneyland! On one of the less crowded days. I think it was too hot even for Southern Californians.
Princess Aurora is my favorite.
Delicious lunch at the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.
Big Thunder Mountain.
The Jungle Cruise!
On Pirates, looking over at the Blue Bayou Restaurant.
Star Tours! I think I found my favorite storyline on the redesigned ride: pod racing.
Good food day. After Dole Whips and Mexican food for lunch, we stopped for a pretzel/churro snack. Vegetarian gumbo was for dinner.
Leaving Disneyland for California Adventure!
In the gift shop at Downtown Disney.
California Adventure has been redesigned and looks a lot like Hollywood Studios in Florida.
The Golden Gate Bridge is gone, as are the poppies and the information center that looks like the Redlands post office. It has more of a golden-age-of-Los-Angeles feel than an overall California feel.
A Bug’s Land!
And the tortilla factory had been replaced by Ghirardelli …
… but they’ve still got free samples, so that’s okay.
Paradise Pier.
Hollywood Land.
And one final stop back in Disneyland for gumbo.
