Last Easter we went on a quest to Pedro’s Tacos in San Clemente to capture beach burritos. Pedro’s has a fantastic combination of beans, rice and crispy breakfast-style potatoes in their floury tortillas. Top it off with a generous squirt of Heinz Taco Sauce and you’ve got a portable seaside meal that rivals anything you could eat indoors. Unfortunately for us, Pedro’s is closed on Easter Sunday. But this year we learned! We took the Mustang down on Good Friday, found our burritos, and enjoyed them overlooking the San Clemente pier. Sure it was about four hours of driving for about a half hour of ocean-gazing, but worth it? Oh yes.
