Back on land! Since our plane to LAX wasn’t until later that evening, we got to spend a day in Miami.
Everything I read about vegan Miami said L’Artisane was a must-try.
They were not wrong. L’Artisane was the food highlight of the trip. It was phenomenal.
Seriously, a Miami visit would be worth it for more of their baked goods.
From L’Artisane we went to the Lincoln Road District.
The promenade has 14 delightful bronze sculptures by Colombian artist Fernando Botero.
The promenade also goes past the Ritz-Carlton on its way to the beach. (There were two Ferraris on the way back.)
Miami Beach! We had a walking tour planned, but the beach was so lovely that we plopped down in the sand for a few hours.
For lunch we wandered to Love Life Cafe‘s location at Time Out Market.
I wanted to visit Love Life Cafe for the arepas, but Jeff’s El Chamo bowl was a bit more photogenic. Everything was tasty, though. (We also got smoothies.)
