My first visit to Joshua Tree.

The number one thing I wanted to accomplish was to take pictures of the stars. The moon was out and the clouds were constant, so I think I’ll have to go back under different conditions and try it again.
 Our campsite.
 Photographers.
Bees. In the morning I vaguely remember the sounds of what I thought was a very loud, very angry fly trapped in the tent. It turns out it was a swarm of bees exploring the trash bags by our picnic table.
Saving their stuff from the bees invading their tent.
Gourmet chef making gourmet breakfast: hash browns, pancakes, eggs, breakfast patties and orange juice.

It was hot. So we left camp and drove around the park.

A timelapse of the rock across the street. The neighbors start painting with flash lights in the lower right corner near the end of the video.
