Longwood Gardens in the summer! It was impressive when I was here in the winter, but even more amazing when the trees have leaves.
The current theme is “Notes from the Forest.” “Discover music in our trees. Explore our hands-on new exhibit and discover how wood has been shaping musical sounds for thousands of years.”

A fountain in the children’s garden, and the “Eye of Water.” The Eye of Water sits above a 90,000-gallon reservoir that supplies the waterfall and the main fountain garden. An initial surge of 8,000 gallons per minute at 9 a.m. drops back to a smooth flow of 5,000 gallons per minute for the rest of the day. And we were there in the afternoon. So this must be the 5,000 gallon part.
