This is the Tikka Masala pizza from Love Amaro Pizzeria in Venice. It’s vegan!
Love Amaro Pizzeria is an entirely vegan pizzeria that won a Best of the Southland award from the L.A. Times in 2021. It’s a literal hole in the wall just to the side of the Venice Boardwalk.
I left the sun in San Francisco apparently. No, just kidding, although there hasn’t been any sun here for a while because of June Gloom, this trip to Venice was actually a while ago, so it was sun-free due to the winter storm season.
The Venice Boardwalk is definitely visually interesting.
I walked from the pizzeria back to Santa Monica, so I got to see all the things!
The weather was worse by the time I got to the Santa Monica pier, but it’s a great way to enjoy the beach without the crowds!
