This is why I’m friends with Josh and Traci: not only did they choose to take their vacation in Salt Lake City, but the first thing they wanted to do was take the Mustang on a photo shoot to the Bonneville Salt Flats. (Josh even washed the Mustang!)

Starting our morning right with a trip to Dunkin’ Donuts.

So happy to spend the day with the Mustang!

I’d never been to the Great Salt Lake, so we stopped at a viewpoint.

Unfortunately for us, the Salt Flats were a salt lake. So we were not able to drive the Mustang on the salt. (We saw tire tracks where some people had tried and encountered suction-cup mud.)

We hopped over the border to Nevada, since it was right there.

At the rest stop we found salt that was only partially covered in water.

Such speed!
